“I can’t say enough good about this B-24. The fit, finish, and scale detail are unmatched. The only thing I did to it was to upgrade the main gear struts as recommended. I did the maiden yesterday on grass and it flew great. I’m using 4s 4000s and an Optipower backup. With those 4s batteries against the front wall of the battery area, the cg was perfect. No as3x - not needed. As all have said, the plane has tons of power and takes off in a short distance without flaps. The lift and climb can be abrupt but after a flight or two, you know to hold it down a bit for a more scale takeoff. Mine only needed a few clicks of down and it flew straight. Turns take a smidge of rudder but not much with the twin rudders. Landing was like a trainer. With full flaps, I just rode the approach with throttle and every landing was perfect and low stress. My throws are all by the book. I expected to be knocking guns off transporting the plane so I bought some extras. This is a very large plane but fits in my SUV without any problem. This is such a great flier. I highly recommend it.”

“I bought this to compliment my collection of large bombers along side my B17 and mosquito. This plane is so lovely to look at and build. I downloaded the 3D stl files and printed out the cockpit detail and other parts. When fitted these make the build look really professional eye catching. Flying on 3s 5000 and I am shocked how much longer my flight time is compared to my HK B17. I was a bit sceptical about using 3s when 4s were recommended but I am very happy with the 3s setup. This plane was an attraction at the club field. Very difficult to fly scale speed I found but I have only flown this 3 times. On my first and second flight I made a perfect landing on a clam day. I surprised myself!! The third landing was bit bumpy but I did come in a little too fast. All in all a fantastic addition to my collection and well worth the price and extra effort and time to cosmetic the turrets and cockpit up. Very happy with this a plane.”

“Maidened it last night. Take off and flight were perfect - needed very little trimming. My first landing attempt was too fast and had a decent, but not super-hard, bounce. I throttled up to go around again. As I throttled up and climbed out, one of the nacelles broke off, I lost control, and I hit the ground from about 10' up. Upon inspection, the nacelle was glued very poorly. There was very little glue and it is a strange silicon rubbery kind of adhesive. I either broke a prop on the landing and the vibrations rattled off the nacelle, or the jolt from the landing shook it loose and it came off from the motor thrust/ vibration. Either way it is benched until the replacement wing arrives. I could have repaired one wing but they are only sold in sets. Word to the wise, check the nacelle glue joints and reinforce with epoxy anyhow.”

“Looks great, flies great, lands and takes off great. Because I am a neat freak, I would like to see a simpler hook up for the batteries. Because of 4 motors and cross wiring, it becomes a very tight and twisted mess under the canopy and a bit time consuming putting together. However, it is practically impossible to screw up the connections. Thank you FMS for designing a system that was thought out carefully to prevent accidental assembly. BRAVO.”
“Plane looks great. Went together easily and fit perfectly. However, I do think that the Users Manual for assembly wasn't very good: 1) It required installation of propellers on motor early in assembly, then required removal later, 2) It failed to include installation of cockpit roof, 3) Wasn't clear on which direction the antenna pedastal mount should be oriented, and 4) failed to specify installation of waist windows and didn't indicate that masking tape (not Scotch Tape) was needed to hold those flat window panels to the curved fuselage while the glue dried (Scotch tape peeled off some of the paint when it was removed). Also, 5) That manual had no information in it on how to properly set up (synchronize) the ESCs to match the transmitter full and zero throttle positions. Fortunately the guys at Motion RC have an excellent video procedure on how to properly set up the ESCs.. In spite of the shortfalls of the Users Manual, this is still an excellent model plane and I look forward to getting it into the air very soon.”

“Put the first flights on the B-24, very impressed. Used two 3S 4200mah batteries and it had plenty of power, flew most of the flight at 1/2 throttle. The B-24 handles very well from takeoff to landing. It's predictable and a lot of fun. I flew for five minutes and had plenty of battery left for at least two more minutes. This B-24 is a winner!”

“Sieht toll aus und fliegt auch so. Bietet mit Flaps sehr großen Geschwindigkeitsbereich, da es auch sehr üppig motorisiert ist.Für die Kabel aus den Flächen hätte ich mir eine gesteckte Lösung in der Wurzelrippe gewünscht.Die Farbe ist recht empfindlich und geht schnell an den Kanten ab.Die Wasserschiebebilder sind trotz zusätzlicher KlarlackSchicht von mir sehr empfindlich. Trotzdem fliege ich die b24 gern und oft.”
