“I've gone through 3 sets of landing gear, 1 as a result of a crash and 2 due to a wheel coming apart. The glue just seemed to let go causing chunks of the wheel to 09arate leaving 25% or more of the wheel missing. It was not the result of hard landings. Wish these had some type of inflated rubber wheel to absorb some of the shock of a hard landing, the foam has no give. This is a trainer after all.Also have the same issue someone else mentioned of the plastic strut rubbing on the inside of the wheel preventing it from turning. I now check the wheels to ensure they turn freely after every landing.”
“nice and easy , but needs a bit of tape ,wire or other wheel stop on the inside hub as the plastic strut digs into the foam wheels causing all kinds of take off and landing issues”
“Although the picture shows that a complete tail wheel assy. is included, I only received the wire portion with tail wheel attached. Unfortunately I needed the plastic strut portion so I ended up repairing my old one and keeping the main gear as a spare.”
