“I acquired this transmitter/ receiver set to be the primary for a build as well as to utilize some other features, such as plugging the transmitter into my Windows computer and using it as a controller. The 16IZ Super has successfully proven itself as a high-end transmitter that has offered more than enough options and features to accommodate all general purpose RC use as well as a lot of extracurricular activities. The provided battery charges both in and out of the transmitter and has an extremely long run time - You could get many days of flying in without even considering a recharge or a second battery. While it may not be specifically listed in the item summary, the transmitter version I received from MotionRC was the “Air” version, which has a riveted friction system in the left / throttle / RY (?) stick - For helicopter use, which is what I’m using it for primarily, the stick is easily modified to be smooth or you can even order a smooth throttle gear for about $15 (which includes shipping) from Futaba, as of late 2023. Alternatively for helicopters, you could attempt to find someone stocking the “Heli” version for this transmitter but I haven’t yet experienced a compelling reason to do that. Overall, it isn’t revolutionary but is an extremely well built and designed transmitter. The receiver works flawlessly as well and firmware updates went in without any hiccups. Fun.”
