“This transmitter was a little difficult to adjust to, but once I read the manual (thick book) and finally got it I have found it really is a solid built device. It feels good in my hands. For an entry level radio it has exceeded my exprectations.”

“I previously reviewed to V1.I thought I'd like 8ch so got the v2 (You can downloaded software but you need a 30/40 quid cable and extra receiver always good)That value is unbeatable, front of the line brand cheaper than spekrum. The toggle switch is a knack ad previously mentioned (rest ball of thumb down).Ironically, the best the about the v2 is the feel! They don't even mention it but it's a slightly different compound of plastic, more Matt and feels amazing, possibly sensual?.Eyes on a ten chanel but this is all you need.Best tx and protocol out there!Hence I bought another. That's my Penny's worth!Rock on motion and bring out some new EDFs.”

“I purchased one of these as a backup / buddy boxing radio to pair with my Futaba 18SZ. My radio was a V1 which was upgraded to a V2 via a firmware upload (also got two additional channels to boot!). The programming is easy especially if you have setup a Futaba radio before. It works great and is now my wife's radio. The reason why I knocked a star off is mainly the 4 way arrow button can be difficult to use (not as bad as the scroll well on the 14SG IMO). It could be just that I am used to the touch screen on the 18SZ though. I will also say that if you are looking for something that just feels amazing please remember this is catered towards an intro radio.”

“I’m still tempted by other more expensive models but this does all you need for 6 channel plane.(Although thing it was marketed more towards drones, maybe helicopter, not sure)But this is a solid unit with top quality build and a solid protocol.I still use my DX6 for some models but only buy futaba now after a few spektrum brown outs but never have a problem with futaba. The expo is the other way around, minus, rather than a plus, which actually makes more sense but all are different and each to their own but for a solid 6 Chanel radio you can’t go wrong (T6K v2 is 8 Channel which can upgrade via buying a lead to plug into computer and download. Has other tricks but I didn’t as no benefit to me.Top tip, to use the toggle button, rest the ball of thumb on case and navigate and select with end of thumb- if you use it you’ll know what I mean and that way you’ll avoid any frustrating errors.long standing top brand and solid radio and protocol! It fancy, just reliable!Love it.”
