Once I got past the Futaba learning curve, the 12K was fairly easy to program. I hate to admit it, but I spent more time learning the radio's nuances than I did assembling my Freewing F-22 PNP. LOL! I love all of the features of the 12K, and it works great with all of the mixes I threw at it. I know I will outgrow it in the future, and when I do, I will replace it with another Futaba. It's a solid and reliable brand that has been around for a long time, and it is worth the investment.

Initally it was a little confusing programming it but a phone call to motion rc cleared it up. I love this radio! It has more channels and switch types and locations ( on the tx) than most people would ever use. The radio link between the tx & rx is bullet-proof! I would absolutely buy it again. Have owned it about 2 years now. The best radio I have ever owned

We have where we fly, but Spektrum radios don't work because of interference. However, other brands seem unaffected. So I decided to buy a known quality brand like Futaba instead of Frsky or Radiomaster. This radio seemed to have enough functionality for my park flyers. That said, the programming is like learning a foreign language coming from a JR/Spektrum background. It comes with a nickle metal hydride battery which I will replace with a life battery.

Not as good as my other Futaba radios. No flaperon settings. Other features missing. Seems like a cheap version. Would of rather bought a “ Radiolink” than this transmitter at half the price.
