Very good Reciever. Small size. Futaba quality and reliability. I use these in my experimental and foamy RC airplanes.

I have had good response on Futaba products. NOT THIS ONE. It won't bind with my T8J transmitter. I followed Futaba operation manual and changed transmitter code. Spent 1 hour messing with it. I called Motion help line and they opened a case on it. (they were very helpful). Got a notice to send it back and I did so. Motion said it was Defective. they gave me credit and I ordered a 2nd one. Here's the short version. NO same problem. I called Futaba both times. There customer support SUCKS, not a single response back. I've have 1 of their 8 channel receivers and it works great. Maybe I should have bought a different brand transmitter and receiver ?

I inadvertently ordered the FUTABA R3106GF. I ordered a Freewing Pandora 4 in one PNP. I usually buy the necessary items for PNP or ARF planes from the ‘Frequently Bought Together’ offer. Thus far this strategy has worked well. All I needed was the receiver as I have the other needed items so I was not careful and did not read the specs other than it was a Futaba 6 channel receiver. I didn’t need the 6 channel Transmitter as I have the 8 channel. I didn’t realize the TX and RX were matched models. So be more careful than I was when pick and choosing from the 'Frequently Bought Together’ offer. Next plane I will determine on my own for the necessary items for PNP or ARFs.I have contacted MotionRC regarding the return policy. The rep, Bradley if I recall his name correctly, was helpful and the process he outlined has begun. I may edit this review when I am notified the returned receiver has arrived at MotionRC.

I can fly a 60 size plane to loss of orientation with these receivers. They may or may not be “full range” but certainly good enough for our flying field and better than the “park flyer” ones I’ve used previously. Always route the antenna to a clear area away from other electronics in your plane.
