GT Power Servo and ESC Tester Reviews

4.8 Rating 157 Reviews
Greetings,Many times suggestions are made recomending this device or that device and more often than not those suggestions simply don't pan out. That is definately NOT the case with the GT Power Servo and ESC Tester!!! This little unit is priceless and a must have when building/configuring/replacing any servo on any aircraft. It is VERY simple to use and can assist in the testing and alignment of multiple servos a once if desired.I am honesty amazed that this unit, while simple in its application, does not sell for much more.Lucky for us it doesn't. You will truly find the device to be one of the favorites in your toolkit.I bought six just to know I'll always have one!!!

Bought this with the intention of inspecting 9g servos before installing them on flaps on several planes. Three settings gave optimal choices for checking and verifying servo operation. Another quality product offered at a very reasonable price by Motion RC!

I was kind of hesitant to buy this because I have used other brands, And they were not consistant to center. But for the price of this I was curious.( I have wasted more money then this on lottery tickets in one week) Anyway, This little guy really works Great! But you need a power source for it , if you dont have one, you will need the 1.5 x4 battery box they sell here. But the battery box does Not come with a plug, So ask the motion reps what you need if you can't adapt a plug for the battery box.

This is a very good servo tester. I paid much more for another brand that did not work as well. It would not center the servo at all. This one does a good job at center and testing servos.

I'm getting into building foam board planes and I've been getting lots of cheap servos. FMS, HK, and other brands.I started having weird jerks in the controls while flying some of the RC planes and I thought it was interference or something wrong with my radio. Nope.Bad servos!I started watching the servos carefully while the planes were on my test bench. I would move the control sticks all over and then let everything rest back at center sticks. The servos wouldn't return to center right away. They would slowly and unevenly click, click, click back into the centered zero position. Some of the servos would twitch out of center and never return properly to zero. After a few crashes, I thought I was just a bad pilot since I'm new to it. Bad servos! So, I ordered this servo tester. It's not fancy but it works. I plugged in some of the new FMS servos I ordered at the same time from MotionRC and the first three had issues with chattering. The third one actually ceased up solid after a minute of use! This servo tester is great for exercising and testing servos BEFORE I glue them into the plane. I have a few servos I need to rip out because I didn't know they were defective before I installed them.THIS TESTER IS WORTH THE MONEY!Just remember to get the recommended battery case to power this. I made my own solution that works well but their kit looks easy.
