“Installed on a flying wing I built and put LED in position to emulate full scale positions. Using landing gear channel / switch to cycle through various modes and to turn off during daytime ops.”

“I got these with the expectation that they could be set to a user selected pattern. They will do this but there is on big caveat...they do not remember the mode setting. You have to use a dedicated channel on your radio just to select the mode every time they are powered up. Think about a television that defaults to some arbitrary channel every time it is powered up.PROS: 1) The leds are bright enough to see during daylight. I have these on a heli so I don't necessarily fly at long range.2) The connectors and wiring seem to be properly assembled.3) The default pattern is 'OK' even though I would prefer a different default setting.4) Plenty of wire for a 500 class heli fuselage.5) The system can be powered by a simple DC source at a max of 6 VDC without taking space for a radio channel.6) If you are OK with using a radio channel and setting the operating mode then you won't be disappointed.CONS: 1) The control board does NOT remember the operating mode you select. You will have to set the operating mode every single time you power up unless you are happy with the default. The processor looks like a PIC processor but I can't tell what kibd because the manufacturer obliterated the part number. I know for a fact that there are several inexpensive processors out there that can use on-board fladh memory to store setups, but I digress.2) The amount of detail in the instructions does have a mode table and a few brief hints but I don't consider it to be explicit about the lack of setup memory.Overall I am OK with the system and maybe my expectations were too high.”
“These are essential lights for authentic looks when replicating scale aircraft.. It also creates a cool look and adds realism to the aircraft. I have two Yak-130s jets and two scale MD500 helicopters and Navigation lights are a must.”
“Nice features, easily assignable for the airplanes they are being used in. Great addition for realistic lighting on several of my air frames. I now have this light system in 6 aircraft and each one has a slightly unique assignment compared to the others.”

“The LED Lighting system works good, and is bright enough for day time use. The controller programming needs help. In all but 1 mode, the landing lights flashing, the landing lights should never flash. Also there is no option to turn off the landing lights off and leave all the other lights on.”
