“I bought this tester because of its uncommon capability to measure the pulse width of the servo signal generated at a receiver output port. Most other servo testers, including some of the more expensive ones, do not support this feature. However, to make it work, I had to go through a few email exchanges with the very helpful Motion RC Customer Support person, who even first volunteered to send me a replacement unit, assuming the one I had received was defective. As it turns out, the servo port of the tester has a maximum voltage limitation of about 5 VDC. I had incorrectly assumed it would be capable of the same extended range (2S Lipo) as the power connector (right side of the unit). So, when I connected the output of a receiver powered by a 2S (Life or Lipo) to the tester servo port, the tester would not work at all, because the voltage was too high. Eventually, GT Power (through Motion RC) was able to clarify this issue and I was able to make the tester work as specified. Note that no mention is made in the User Manual nor in the instruction video of this voltage requirement for the servo port. With this issue now resolved, I am satisfied with the product and its many capabilities in measuring and troubleshooting servo issues.”

“Nice little servo tester. Takes some time to learn, the instructions are not very clear. Wish there was a switch but not really a problem. Great for setting mid-point and determining range.”

“Excellent product. allows me to match servo's where 2 or more are needed to work together. Only concern I had was no built in battery but that was minor. The other problem was the user's guide. I had to figure out what all the tests did, it would have been helpful to enhance the description of each test.”
