“Because of the Covid-19 lockdown I ventured into the RC tank world and bought the Sherman as my first. So impressed with the fine control you can achieve and I decided to detail it to do it justice. The smoke unit works well for me, 2ml or so every now and then. I would recommend buying the 3500mah battery for that extra run time and it fits so much easier too. I have the bug at the moment and got the Challenger 2 with an Abrams pro on it’s way. Thanks MotionRC!”

“This is my second Heng Long tank and although smaller than most it is quite robust. Good amount of detail and a good motor sound. Running time with the stock battery was about 15 minutes but with an adapter l am going to use my 1800/2200 2 cell batteries.”

“The Sherman tank is one of the better of the awesome series of tanks that Motion RC carries. All of the tanks look great but the suspension on the Sherman is good and solid.Just be careful with the smoker, only put one or two drops at most into the hole. I wish I would’ve known that little bit of information up front. I think the weakest link with any of these tanks has to be the manual that comes with each tank.”
“This tank is awesome! It went together easily, but had trouble with my decals sticking to the body. It took some work to make them stick, but they look really good. It's easy to maneuver and run. Both of my daughters love taking turns with it, and want one for themselves on their birthday. I'm looking forward to purchasing a few more. If you're in doubt, don't hesitate and buy one.”

“I've had many of the HL tanks over the years.....beginning with the 27mhz models up to the TK18 board models and have enjoyed all of them for the most part. I am a scale buff....and put a lot of time and money into some of my HL tanks to get them to perform as scale as possible. I probably had close to $300 into my previous HL Sherman with after market motors, gears, gearboxes, etc to get it to drive more scale......and this new 6.0 Sherman from Motion walks the dog to it. The slow turns are just beautiful now, right out of the box. It's almost frustrating in a way lol! JK.My only gripe........please seal the smoke fluid. Everything in my box was coated with the smoke fluid. The top on the bottle was off, the bag holding the fluid was open.....and my brand new tank was covered. This might not bother the average person, but someone like me looking to do paint work on the body is just an added headache now. The new smoke unit works great and puts out a lot of smoke......buuuuuuuuut this unit is a consistent blower motor instead of the old chug, chug, chug smoke unit which I adored. Motion shows many of their new tanks having the puff puff smoke units, but the one I received just gives one long pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff. Personally I feel the puff, puff units looks more scale, but this new one is much quieter. All in all this new 6.0 version from Motion is by far the most advanced and precise model that HL has come out with. This is HL's biggest jump from previous models and it shows. IR apple is included standard......4 different engine sound options standard......track recoil settings......so many options!Jordan”

“This is a must have for any RC tanker as the Sherman is a classic WWII tank. The quality of the model is very impressive for the price of $139. Only con is that some pieces don’t snap on which is understandable since it is supposed to be customizable, but some of the pieces that were meant to snap into place aren’t very secure. Tank moves slowly very well and can get up to speed quickly. Overall nice tank for the affordable price. I hope MotionRC keeps stocking these.”
