“I purchased the metal tracks, sprockets, and idler wheels for my next door neighbor Heng Long Challenger tank to help him modify his tank because we do our tank battles in our back yards. His plastic tracks kept stretching and started coming off every few minutes. So we switched out everything but the road wheels. It only took about 20 minutes with him doing all the work, so now he's happy, I'm happy because now we can have our little battles, and he now is more interested in doing more modifications and I now have a neighbor interested in the same hobby as myself. The tracks, sprockets, and idlers fit perfect. The only issue was the screws to attach the idlers were the wrong size to fit the track tensioner, but we were able to come up with screws that worked, no big deal!”

“The set does not include the required hub screw for the idler, the bearings do not fit the factory hub screw and Motion RC has confirmed that all their sets are like this and do not have the correct parts.”

“If you look at the photos, you'll see the two screws that hold the idler wheel on, they screw into the metal tension adjustment mechanism and act as the axle for the idler wheel. The kit did not actually include those screws, the screws they include look more like what would be used to retain the road wheel on their plastic shaft, and the bearings in the wheel are too small to use with the stock screws.”
