“This was actually my third Heng Long tank purchase. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that the smoke does not work properly. Not a big deal to me but mentionable. Very fun to assemble all of the add on parts. Great tank.”

“I am very pleased with this HL Pro edition T90. It runs smoothly and has decent speed. Not fast in stock form, but not slow. Upgrade it to the 390kv 'red can' motors and speed increases. Stick a 3s pack in the hull and it becomes a sports car! :) Yes, the TK 6.0 board can handle 12 volts, though the motors get hot. Turret traverse is quick and positive. The 6mm BB power is more than I expected. The new TK 6.0 versions of these things are a lot better than earlier editions. With the new (optimal for purchase) MotionRC 3500 mah 7.4v Li-Ion battery, my runtimes have been 30 minutes plus of hard maneuvering. With the included 1800 mah pack, expect half that.The T90 is perfect tank for someone who likes to personalize, weather, modify and otherwise pimp out their toys. I paint matched the metal wheels and tracks, detailed the commander's 12.7mm machine gun, weathered and dirtied it up and generally made it look well run. I did not add the goofy T-90 and flag decals as those aren't seen on real tanks, except perhaps in a Red Square May Day parade.Running this tank, or any tank, in coarse beach or play sand will be hard on the bearings and the surfaces between them and the hull and bogie wheels. You'll need to service these areas periodically to get the grit out, or the wheels could lock up. It's not hard to do for anyone who is even a little handy.Overall, this is an excellent model of a tank you won't find anywhere else. I own several Tamiya 1/16 full option tanks and this model measures up to them in cross country ability, quality of the molded detail and overall appearance. At this price point, I think this is an excellent buy.”

“For just over $300 you get a very nice scale model of the well known T-90 MBT. All metal tracks, drive sprockets, and road wheels make a nice upgrade with the professional version. The only negatives I see with this model, could use an upgrade on the motors, they get the job done, but there are times when you can tell a little more motor would be nice. And, the suspension for the road wheels is a little too simple to make a durable design. The suspension arms just pivot on smooth shanked screws with no bushings or bearings, and the screws are just tapped into the plastic base tub of the tank. They work, but I'm not sure they were designed for any rough outdoor use. You still can't beat it for the price though. Upgrades would be simple to do to make it more durable for outside use. So, great model for a good price!”
