“I bought this FlightLine 3748-580KV motor from MRC and installed it in my Dynam F6F Hellcat, along with the ZTW Mantis 65A ESC w/5A SBEC, the FlightLine 1200mm F8F Spinner and the FlightLine 12×7 4-blade propeller set, powered with the Admiral 4000mah 14.8V 4S lipo battery and let me tell you, this upgrade brought my Dynam F6F Hellcat warbird to life, and every item that's been detailed in this review I purchased from MRC over the past 3 to 4 years. These FlightLine motors are some really good powerful motors and then some. I'm gonna do the same upgrade in my Dynam F4U Corsair in the near future. MRC is my favorite go to RC hobby store for parts and planes when I can afford them, when you're forced to retire early, SS doesn't stretch very far these days.”
“Original motor on my Bearcat got so hot it melted the prop hub right off the shaft in flight! It had been damaged in a crash & I didn't notice it. New one is quiet & very battery efficient. Flies hard for a full 7 minutes & averages 15.3V left in a 4000mah pack.”
