“I am running this engine on an older 7-foot wingspan Sig Spacewalker 1/4 scale Spacewalker II. I am, like, the fifth owner of this airframe and I was able to mount this 17cc engine onto the existing bearers, into some already pre-drilled holes remaining from some PREVIOUS engine.I did the break-in period on a test-stand before flying this motor on my Spacewalker. I started by flying with an APC 15-8 prop. After a couple of flights I replaced the prop with an APC 16-6... I like that better! ... because of the Golden Age look of my aircraft, I plan to put a ZOAR wooden prop onto this model... a 16-6 or, maybe a 16-5... With the 16-6, the top end of the throttle RPM is reached before I actually hit the top of the throttle position... so a 16-6 may be a bit too much for this motor in my application.I do recommend this motor... easy to start... easy to tune... seems like nice power; it barely sips the fuel... I have a tiny 6cc gas tank and I can fly a nice flight and still have most of a half-a-tank left.... I am looking forward to an NGH 12cc, if they ever produce one, for my Sig Astro Hog model that I fly nitro with an OS 65LA.-- Eric”
