“For the price this is a fantastic model. The scale detail is pretty high and the build is fairly strong. The one downside is the vynl type covering and the weak landing gear. The covering can get a bit warped in the sun but always returns to original form and the wrinkles do not affect the flight characteristics. I went electric with the bird and had to do some minor modification to the firewall to slip a 4s 5000 battery under the motor. The CG otherwise is way too far aft. You have to cut through some ply and build a box up front, but it’s really no big deal. The landing gear needs tweaking and the tail wheel is pretty bad. Go buy some good landing gear. The aircraft flies exactly how you’d anticipate a tiger moth flying. Beautiful scale takeoffs, slow rolls, excellent hammer heads, and really easy pleasant landings. It spins wonderfully as well. It has become my go to aircraft for any weather, any time. I would reccomend it to someone who’s looking for a scale type aircraft that’s somewhat forgiving (it will do exactly what you tell it to do).”

“Everything has gone together as planned. I have assembled several other planes and I had no supprises except for the servo that did not work. I had learned to fly on a Tiger Moth and obtained my license in 2003 from the Red Stick Club in Baton Rouge, La. I installed a 55 size glow motor. I can't wait to do the maden flight. As soon as the new servo arrives I will complete the plane and send all some pictures. Sincerely, Chris”

“Came in good condition. Coating looks really nice. Went electric. Get the recommended wing servos or better something with a long arm unless you want super scale roll rate. Love the hatch huge interior. Only reason not 5 stars are the elevator and rudder control horns prefer something with a screw included are probably fine. Highlt recommend looking at the forum link for setup ideas”

“Build went great. This is the third balsa arf that I’ve built. Finish and fit was good. Did maiden this week. No trim needed. The wide gear helped with ease of taxing. Used the recommended esc and motor. Used 12x6 wood prop and had plenty of power. It definitely flies like a scale plane. I recommend this to an experienced pilot builder.”
