“Plane arrived very quickly, well packaged, absolutely no damage. I live next to a lake so the float were a must and the maiden flight will be from the lake. Build was easy enough if you have some previous experience. No real surprises, just have to think a few things out ahead of time. I used 80A ESCs as Motion everyone seemed to be out of the 60's. Still fit in the cowlings with no problems. The motor mount option provided is just four screws which does work but I chose to design and 3-D print. some more solid options with the correct spacing built in. I will be using twin 5000 packs for power....plenty of flight time and hp. CG was easily obtained with no extra weight. It honestly took me almost as long to properly configure the differential steering for my NX-8 than it did to assemble the rest of the plane. No rudders on the floats so diff steering a must. Waiting for a waves window for the maiden flight now. Product 'performance rating" below is neutral until it gets into the air.”

“Looks like they will work well on water or snow. might install rudder for water, will see. Instructions look complete and cover some things I never thought about like center of gravity and angle of attack for water take off”

“The Assembling Manual is very poor.I can't finde any explanation for bend or drill the both brace for connetion of the floats. Quality of the floats so far good.”

“I received the float set the other day and it does not come with instructions or a rudder. Not sure how to steer the plane when it is going slow. The floats themselves are nice and light and have the same covering as the otter. I will have to buy and retro fit a rudder. Kind of a pain and extra expense. I have never had a set of floats not come with a rudder or instructions on how to install them. I give it 2 stars because it comes with no instructions or rudder.”
