Assembly of this arf is pretty straight forward with needed mods for a better model. VQ DC-3 has a great series of videos of this airplane in great detail of the build, mods and flying and its spot on including the maiden crash and twisted wing. On my maiden I needed 1/4 of right aileron trim to fly this level, after taking an incidence meter to the wing I found out there was a huge twist in the wing at the root, when applying power the plane ballooned quite a bit so down thrust is needed even though I glued the engine mounts per the plans.I also balanced the airplane 13mm forward of the plans for more nose weight. This thing was a nightmare to try to fly tip stalling even at 3/4 throttle in a gentle turn. My third flight it tip stalled in a high altitude mid throttle turn and never recovered. I have built 2 Top flight DC-3's over the years and they both flew like a dream. IMO this ARF is overpriced, heavy, crooked and a nightmare to fly even for a veteran pilot.

Very good authentic looking. A little expensive when you add up all the things you need to buy. The covering is hard to fix when wrinkled. Because of its heavy wing loading, it flies more like a fighter than a transport. It would fly more scale if it was larger ; perhaps around 110 inches or greater giving it more wing loading. The Manuel is poor and leaves much to the imagination, also they don't recommend what size battery or batteries to use.
