“Great looking airplane, good price. Was well packaged and arrived without a scratch. About 80% finished and as others have expressed I also had some issues with the retracts. I am using a set that came from a Nexa Barron which are supposed to be identical. Nose gear took some "retooling". The plywood motor mounting plate was missing but compared to the nose gear issues should be easy to make a replacement. Did not like (or use) the metal rudder and elevator control rods. Way too heavy adding a lot of unwanted tail weight.”

“This plane with some modifications is very nice. It fly perfectly and is made very well. I modified this plane and improved some of the design that I didn't like. The landing gear was the first change. I put suspension struts with metal retracts. The nose has a trailing link with helps prevent bending the 5mm pin, and the mains have square blocks instead of 5mm pins so that the orientation of the wheels is correct.The nose gear needs a servo for steering instead of the suggested long wire which is sloppy. I built a box for the servo and set it on a platform which has a flange which is glued to a wooden platform. In the photos the flooring is shown which cleaned up the plane at a cost of about .2kg.”
