“I had this plane for just over a year and made over 100 flights on it. Unfortunately, I made the wrong decision to land on a windy day with the gyro off. I attempted a go around and it did the ole P Factor torque roll to the left and hit the ground really hard. Other than the last fight, it flew really well but landings are tricky, especially in windy conditions like at my field. I used the recommended servos and motor with a 13x8 3 blade prop, a 3300mah 6S lipo and a 100-amp Castle ESC. Lots of power. I strongly recommend that you use a gyro with this airplane, especially for the landings. You can take off and fly around without the gyro, but landing is a must.”

“Everything is great… But the gun indents on the cowl and battery cover don’t match up….looks rather funky. Can’t comment on performance. Won’t fly till spring”

“I picked one of these up 2nd hand but it has made me a believer in Nexa (VQ) models. "Flys on Rails" pretty much sums it up. I did add some spring air retracts, and chiseled out the battery bay until I could get a 6s 4000 in there. I got it with a rimfire 55. which has no problem pulling it around. Really fun making passes at 3ft off the deck, no problen. Just a solid flyer”
