Having built models for nearly sixty years I was looking for something different. My experience with Nexa airframes is, you're at the luck of the draw. One may have been assembled well and another will have issues that are hard to resolve. As already stated before, the tail incidence is off, mine was no exception, plus the wings were not mirror images which even after trying to work that out caused the thing to turn right in flight. Couple these seemingly minor things with a V tail arrangement and it makes for terrible flight characteristics. I did do all the things RC Geek suggested and they helped but my airframe is beyond hope. I will not waste another dime on Nexa airframes.

The build went together great. Excellent quality from Nexa. The only issue I had was with the suggested landing gear. Other then that I recommend the G35 V-Tail. Can't wait to maiden.

This is a great plane...assembly was straight forward and the plane flies very well...check out RC Geek to adjust CG and tail set up. His advice was right on and very necessary.

Servos: 8x HS-5085MG Micros2x HS-5645MG StandardsPower: O.S. 55AX w/ 12x8 PropReceiver: 10chRecommended Retracts/Single Nose Strut Installed.Decided to purchase this bird based on reviews and videos from RC Geek. Search up "RCGeek Bonanza" for those who are interested. I would/will be basically parroting his praises and gripes. Outside of his review, I opted for Glow/Nitro power as its really intended as such. Just beware the extra work it takes to mount and set up a gas engine. MOST IMPORTANTLY, due to the nose gear mounting box jutting off the firewall, beware of where your engines exhaust interferes. I had to take extra precaution with a center-line thrust template to clock my engine 2-5° off level. I did have to cut a hole in a lower quarter of the firewall for my 55s muffler to fit through, and have a Dubro exhaust extension to deflect out the bottom of the fuselage.I separated out all the surfaces for ease of radio programming and actual V-tail mixing. The manual wants you to lock the "Ruddervaters" together as an elevator, essentially making the model a yank-and-bank type. They also state wanting to tie in your nose gear steering to what would be your regular Standard-Tail rudder servo in the rear of the fuselage; I personally opted to cut out a slot in-line and right behind my nose retract for another micro servo to hook to. Flies like an absolute dream otherwise and plenty of cruising speed with this particular engine. Last major point as stated in RCGeeks review, the CG stated in the manual(5in/128mm from inner Leading Edge) appears to be tad tail-heavy. I was able to move my Rx Battery as required to about 4.5in/114mm for a stable and uneventful maiden flight. For those unaware, most of the recent NEXA acquisitions here at Motion are rebranded VQ/Legend Hobby ARFs. I am honestly curious if these will make a come back after they are sold out, or really if NEXA has contact with the manufacture in Vietnam.
