“this is my first "Nexa" ARF, but have other brands, the quality of this model is the best I've seen yet. The instructions were clear, concise and complete, very easy to follow and build tips were good and helpful. A successful assembly, makes for a successful flyer. I went electric with a GP10 400Kv 1180watts and Mantis 85A ESC, HiTec D645MW servos throughout. I am looking foward to her maiden.”

“The designers of this kit really need to take a step back and give it a thorough examination. First of all it will not take off with the recommended 4S configuration. Must be 6S. Second why does it recommend a prop smaller than anything shown in the motor propeller recommendations ? Third I have 15 years of rc airplane experience I find this model uncontrollable on the ground. Found left wheel towed in and right wheel towed out. Alignment did help some but not near enough. Going to try heading hold. Google the full size L19 and you'll find they are a handful on the ground also. Not for beginners and a challenge for intermediate and expert.”

“Forget 4S it won't hardly roll through the grass. 6s4000 resolved the power problem. Severely difficult to control during takeoff roll. This is not a beginners aircraft and will challenge the experienced. Then I read this on line about the full size: "The Cessna L-19 Bird Dog, also known as the O-1, is a tailwheel aircraft that requires careful ground handling due to its characteristics. Proper technique is crucial to avoid ground loops, especially in crosswind conditions or during high-performance maneuvers. Key aspects include using rudder and ailerons in coordination, managing engine power and brakes, and understanding the aircraft's behavior in relation to wind. "”
“Terribly unimpressed, I paid extra for the bundled product. After 40 years I am an experienced modeler but this plane will only ground loop. I believe it to be way, way underpowered. Still awaiting tech support”

“I first bought this plane, it flew well, and then the receiver went dead (not a motion one). The plane was totaled. I bought a second one, then the landing gear mount fell apart on takeoff, due to weak wood, and had to be repaired and strengthened. I finally got this in the air, landed smooth, and then the tail broke. I fly all sorts of planes from motion and they are great, but the nexa planes are fragile and need lots of strengthening. I can tell when a plane will be my go- to flyer and this one isn't one of them. Sorry, I hate to post a negative review, but on the positive side this one will look pretty on my ceiling and that is it. Motion is still my number one place to shop.”

“This is great kit, very nice attention to detail. I built it with the 4s configuration, and it would hardly get off the ground. Installed a 4s 6000 and it helped, but still did not have the take off thrust it needed. A 6s is big for the aircraft, but it solved the issue. Next makes a really nice kit, I just ordered another one!”

“Installed 6s 5000 , had to widdle some clearance in the battery tray to make battery fit but flew good, no weight added , had to fly it in to land, not really a floater”
