“I have a Saito FG-21 on mine and it's a hoot!I built ski's for it and it's my winter bird. Do not use CA glue for the hinges like the manual says! Use canopy glue or 30 minute epoxy for the working time. Had to add some lead to the engine mount to get CG right. JI Joe makes and excellent pilot!-Matt”

“This is a larger version of their L-4 Grasshopper. It is still a pain to put and hookup the servos thru the side door and if you go electric, changing the batteries. The wings attach thru the fuse, better then the L-4. Now the 2 big problems, first they pack it very good except for the wings, they tape a piece of thick paper between the wings to protect them from scratching each other but the tape is stronger then the covering. Peel the tape off gently or you will tear the covering at the wing tip seam like I did. 2 the biggest issue is Nexa is color blind, the Navy tri-color scheme was dark sea blue on top, intermediate blue on the sides and insigna white on the bottom. What you get is a darker inter. blue on top, a pale sea foam green on the sides and RAF sky green for the ins. white. The graphics are nice, the landing gear with spring suspension is very nice. I have to wait to build mine cause I am going to paint it in proper colors and use Callie Graphics, which she already has a NE-1 set. I have to wait for warmer weather in a couple of months to paint it outside because of it's size.”
