My kit came damaged in shipping. These things happen, but the hardware package is missing all the set screws and nothing on this kit is fitting well at all.

I haven't yet built this kit, I ordered it for a winter project along with the NGH 25cc engine. I wanted to go with the larger engine due to these old Warbirds tend to be tail heavy. Every thing was packed extremely well with no damage of any kind also the attention to detail is great with the exception of the tail wheel, but that will definitely improve ground handling and is a welcome substitute to the skid. The dashboard detail is very good. Shipping was amazingly fast, I received this in 1 day from motion.

I ordered this for a winter project and have not built it yet, I inboxed it and checked everything out for any damage or defects. I found No damage of any kind and everything was very good quality and very detailed, great detail on the dashboard. I also ordered the NGH 25cc engine with it. I wanted to go with the larger engine due to the fact because these old warbirds usually need nose weight. The shipping from Motion was extremely fast I received this next day after I ordered and with no box damage of any kind.

The fit of the parts and pieces is terrible! You'll break balsa and ply trying to get the wires into the holes in the landing gear. The wires don't fit properly in the brackets that hold them to the landing gear, so trying to get the landing gear level and straight is a nightmare. The fitment of the support struts that attach the middle section of the top wing to the fuselage is just awful. With the adjustable length rods at their shortest position, it puts a lot of stress on the joints and the top wing becomes crooked and unlevel with the rest of the plane. The tabs on the end of the struts that attach to the fuselage need to be bent to a swallower angle to fit properly. I broke one tab with the slightest of effort. The manual is lacking as well. The orientation of the mounting brackets for the middle section of the top wing is very unclear. The brackets are all bent at different angles both left and right, and forwards and backwards. None of the struts line up well with the brackets. This is a good looking bird, but that's about it. I've put together several ARF kits and this the worst by far. The assembly is fairly straight forward, but the fit of the hardware is very poor. I'm very disappointed in this kit. Stay away from this plane unless you like a challenge.
