“Have these installed on my V-Tail. I'm now on my third nose gear. Not nearly strong enough for the airplane, and it bends too easily. The first one was my fault-hard landing. The next two though, i greased that plane in like butter and still the nose just falls over. The mains are ok, but the nose gear is worthless.I am now going to convert it to a fixed gear using a Dubro or similar part. I'd use the fixed that came with the plane, but I chucked it when I installed the retracts, and silly Motion sells the struts as a set, but no mounting parts. To get those I have to buy the entire hardware mounting set (https://www.motionrc.com/products/nexa-1580mm-g35-sport-v-tail-hardware-mounting-set-nxa1030-110) which is dumb.”

“The retract itself seems pretty good but don't waste your money on the struts.....cheap junk. Will pop apart during landing sending one side of the plane in the air. Strut then shoots out and then the wing tip drags the runway and the plane spins out......nice!”

“I got these for a so called upgrade for Tarheel Hal p47. They either twist or bend on every landing no matter how smooth. Last landing was perfect but the left pivot hinge broke allowing the lower portion of retract to pop out causing a nose over and broke the cowl. Very disappointed.”
