“Unfortunately the Australian Dollar is very bad against the American Dollar so it made this item very expensive. (Double the cost)Also the shipping was very very slow. 3 full weeks to get the item to Western Australia. I have bought many items from America and most items i get within 7 days. I’d suggest looking at better and cheaper ways to ship items overseas.The service i received from MotionRC was 100% first class. Excellent communication. They posted my item immediately on receiving payment and their email communication was fantastic. “I have one of the first AVANTI S that Motion Rc Sold. No problems. This fan delivers great performance and realistic sound, not the whiny noise sound you get from other fans.”
“pretty simple change out for existing assembly. Be careful with the washers they can fall inside the motor and with the magnets in the Motor it could get fun getting them out. The fan or rotor was balanced spot on and I had about .030 gap all the way around from the ends of the blades to the housing before I locked down the Motor. I used tapered edge feeler gauges for measurement. Run up after assembly was smooth, no vibration. I like the foam packaging as it not only protects the unit but makes for a good parts tray during tear down and assembly.”
