“I bought a few of these so that I could assemble my own 8S power units. Well I found out after purchasing that the i.d is barely over 39mm dia. So to use the average 40mm edf motor is impossible with this unit. . Of course if you use the 40mm advertised Freewing motor it is actually 39mm in diameter. You cant tell me that they didn't do this on purpose. to purchase the freewing motor is prohibitively expensive! At least the old edf housings are almost 40mm and you can hone them out to fit. Pretty sure they will discontinue those....”
