“Purchased this left side tail assembly to add the finishing touch to my 700 size MD500.Very solid tail and has metal gears.They were shimmied too tight from the factory so I removed a couple shims to remove most of the gear noise.This was not a direct fit on my Trex 700 boom.The way the gearbox was machined,the boom stoppedbefore the torque tube seated in the gear.I had to shorten the boom 1/2 and it fit.Drilled a new stop hole and she was good to go.Looks scale and flies great.”
