“Received the bat-safe XL before scheduled delivery date. I was happy about that It's also in good condition, a solid unit. I lined it with ceramic tile for additional protection also the batteries are in lipo bags and six of them fit comfortably at the bottom. Even though the chance are one in a million or maybe one in 10 million of them going thermal it's still nice thought when I'm going away on vacation that they're secure. Also mounted my Traxxas EZ-Peam duel charger on top. I'm not charging within the box cuz I don't have the leads for it .”

“I finally dropped the hammer on buying a Bat-Safe. I bought the XL and am glad I did. I was able to put ALL my lipos inside and then put the Bat-Safe inside a fireproof safe. “While it is true that thermal runaway is rare, it is also true that when it does happen it is almost always catastrophic! The cost of this charging safe box is dirt cheap compared to losing your home.It works great when charging my drone batteries and controller. I often leave them inside when storing them just to be extra safe. And it's big enough to hold two e-bike batteries simultaneously (check your dimensions). Well-made and durable, it should last a long time. And it came well packaged, so no worries about damage during shipping. Highly recommended!”
