“Updated Build.Well, I finally finished the build, did my maiden flight ok, but there are a few issues with the landing gear rods.They are made from some kind of graphite which is too soft to hold set screws, overtime the set screw will cut into the graphite and eventually let go.I tested the landing gear about 25 times before my flight, apparently some of the set screws had let go and I did not realize it. I tried to spool up and one of the gear collapsed and caused some damage to the Heli. The gear was not in the down lock position.The heli is still salvageable.If you are building one of these kits do not use the graphite rods in the kit, do yourself a favor and get aluminum rods. They are 5mm in diameter.On another note, I ended up using three servos, the two servos setup did not work for me.And yes, the Heli still flies like a dream, it just sits in the air with little effort and no vibration at all.”
