“I love this Heli and by far is one of the largest projects I built to date. Craftsmanship and detail are excellent. I would suggest is using the Bavaraian Demon you keep the USB cable plugged in and run to the cabin for easy access at a later date for adjustments. The door hinges are very weak but the mechanics are robust.”

“This sized machine requires the very best fight controller, the Bavarian Demon.. Once I installed, and programmed this FC, everything came together quickly. TIP: Make sure you run the programming cable from thee FC to the cockpit with plenty of cable so you may easily plug in the FC to a laptop via USB and make corrections to the programming. The detail on the model is outstanding and I do agree the door hinges break real quick and spares are not in stock. Be advised, this is a big bird and flies like a big bird so if you are used to 600, 500 and 450's this will be a handful, but doable.”

“This is a great heli scale kit and worth the money. Flies great and looks scale with the supplied cockpit. The biggest issue is the flimsy tail. One slight bump and the vertical stab is broken. It's hollow inside and twists easily. I ended up putting a light metal shaft inside the stab and refinishing it. I recommend taking it off when storing or transporting. I think this is why the spare is always out of stock. Another big problem is that the scale door hinges break easily and are not available to replace. I crafted replacements from a dubro plastic pin hinge and put it under the broken hinges to keep the scale look. A lesser issue is the lack of suggested wiring (and that includes a lack of overall detailed instructions as relates to the high quality of the kit and price). There's a lot of distance between &the mechanics and the location of the electronics and it can be exasperating for the inexperienced builder to figure it all out. Side note: I emailed Roban several times and have never received a response about the hinges.”
“Kit arrived in excellent condition with no broken parts. Have not started the fuselage yet, but overall fit & finish looks quite good. Mechanics took a minimum of shimming. Some disappointment in the 5-blade rotor head was found. One of the pitch arms actually struck a neighboring rotor holder. This caused a jump in the swash plate when this occurred. I was able to use a Dremel and grind enough off the rotor holder and pitch arm to get clearance. No adjustment available, not sure why the part did this. Factory flaw?”
