“Belle maquette !Montage simple du Bell222 si on connaît la mécanique Roban. En effet la documentation pourrait être plus détaillée pour les débutants. Quelques percages et limages pour adapter certaines pièces mais en conclusion c’est un magnifique hélicoptère !”

“I recently got in two successful test hovers to get her dialed-in and she looks absolutely beautiful. I am looking forward to flying her this coming weekend. This kit is very detailed for what is is and was for the most part not very difficult to assemble. The only small issue I have with it is that the plastic hinges used on the doors are very fragile, so you may want to remove all the doors with the hinges attached to them to keep from accidentally breaking them. I did deviate from the assembly to where the pinion that goes on the motor is that I had to install the pinion with the set screws toward the motor to get it to fit correctly under the pinion support and also line up properly with the drive belt. I didn’t have to remove anything to assemble the motor, pinion and pinion support by loosely assembling the mounting bolts and using a Allen ball-driver to slowly tighten all the bolts that have thread-locker applied where needed and everything lined up nicely. Don’t fully tighten the motor bolts until you have the proper belt tension applied first. One other thing is that on the measurement for the lower swash-plate links to the bell-cranks will not work as the rear ball-link that is attached to the Elevator bell-crank can not be made any shorter to match the instruction to make the ball-link to ball-link centers at 35mm, so I set the distances to 37mm. That means that the collective link rods have to be made a bit shorter to work, so I ended up making my own rods as the ones I the kit were too long to get the correct collective range specified. I also mounted my Castle 160HV ESC on the ceiling of the cabin 90 degrees to the nose as there isn’t enough room under the removable canopy/battery access cover and to get the CG to work. The ESC is set so it will clear the pilot, co-pilot seats and the three center row seats. Other than that, the Heli is a awesome build as the fit and finish are great. My Heli comes in at 17.6 lbs with two 4100mah 6s 45c LIPOs installed. Regarding the door hinge issue, I have contacted support and they said this is a common issue and they have a mass order in the works as others have also encountered this issue and they will notify me when they have the hinges in stock. Awesome service!”
