“I have been using Robart pin hinges for more than 30 years. I was expecting the usual grey nylon with well formed steel pins holding them together. These are black in color. Each hinge has an excessive amount of flashing that oozed out of the mold during manufacture. The “”steel” pins were only partially rolled over on the ends to hold them in place. The Robart website shows a picture of the original hinges for this size hinge. However, other size hinges appear to be this new black construction.”
