“The fuselage is outstanding with detail, five stars there. Where this heli lacks is the quality in mechanics. They say they test fly each one....yeah I don't think so especially since the tail fuselage boom needed to be ground out to allow the servo linkage to actuate freely . My opinion is this is more for intermediate flyers and not for beginners especially with the high resonance vibrations causing unwanted behaviors using this recommended microbeast plus straight out of the box. If you get it using the microbest plus, be sure to check your firmware and us the wiki manual because it gives more indepth information as to what the specific functions do....”

“Finding the Rotorscale 450 that I call Airwolf was an amazing purchase. I had been searching coincidentally, for an Airwolf style helicopter to buy about 1 month before JMV passed on.... I hadn't found many to choose from and what was available was just ridiculous in size or cost. I just by chance happened upon the Motion RC website and found this model for sale. It had been newly released and I would bet I was probably one of the first 3 to purchase one. Anyhow the purchase process was easy and fast and the shipping was really quick with great packaging. It was really done well and with free shipping. The chopper is really greatly detailed for its size and looks absolutely amazing on my dresser top! The canopy top is easy to remove and stays in place extremely well too. Glossy finish and rivet detail is awesome. I purchased the rocket set from the spare parts section of the listing and it also looks great and was pre painted with good detail. It will mount to this helicopter easily if you purchase both. I took off my rotor and tail blades and refinished them to match the real Airwolf and also painted the chain gun set. This helicopter is totally amazing from every point of view, having not flown it yet, I can't say for that experience yet, but I like it sitting pretty on display and probably won't risk it! When I change my mind though, they have made it really easy here at Motion RC to get what you need to fly. The items this model needs to fly are few, in stock, and are recommended right on the listing page. You could never get a better deal or more detailed version of this helicopter for this amount and now that JMV has passed on, the market has thinned out and gotten super expensive.
