“RTF kit was NOT RTF. No charger/manual/extras/tools. Once I did get a response, I was told they don't have them anyways. As if, I'm trying to get away with extras. (Sidenote: Helicopter came in perfect condition, as did the Tx.)”

“This is a fantastic helicopter and Motionrc takes good care of it's customers (thanks Tim!). I am a scale flyer not a 3D flyer, but I like a nice, smooth, and precise helicopter. I lowered the throttle curve from 80 to 60 and I changed the pitch curve to 55 65 70 75 80. I might work in some expo but it flies nice and smooth with those settings.”

“First I’ll start by saying I’m a horrible helicopter pilot I tried many years ago and gave up on it because I kept crashing. I came across the motion RC “XK K100”helicopter and I figured for $110 why not try it again. Amazing helicopter that with the newer technology help me learn how to fly. But as it’s tiny I wanted something bigger . I laid down $240 and bought the Eflight Blade 150 S from local hobby shop. I’m looking to get into a review on that one but in short I did not like it at all. I had more fun flying my hundred dollar XK. Basically when flying in safe mode or 6G the spectrum technology would completely fight me and it would limit speed and would do these erratic tailspins and wags. So I ended up selling that one to a friend after a couple of days and taking $100 loss. I wanted something bigger that I could fly out further that was as good as the XK but premium quality. I went back to motion RC and looked at all of their helicopters and came across this rotor scale that seem to be put together with nothing but high-end parts. I ordered it with hopes that it will fly like a better and more premium version of the hundred dollar XK. When I got it and opened up the box, the packaging was not extremely impressive however it’s good enough to be reused as a transport box. Upon pulling it out I was blown away by how beautiful the helicopter was and the combination of carbon fiber and billet aluminum. As to the flight characteristics like I said I’m not a good helicopter pilot I fly at 95% of the time in 6G mode, and it flows beautifully! A skilled helicopter pilot would have a blast with this thing. It can do so much more than I’m capable of. I do flip it down into 3-D occasionally and do a quick loop or two and flip the switch back. The radio it comes with is actually a pretty decent radio. And I don’t mind having a separate radio for my helicopter than all of my planes. If you’re a beginner or an experienced 3-D pilot you can’t go wrong with this helicopter it’s well worth the money! I have flown it in 15 mile an hour winds with gusts up to 20 and this helicopter just laughs at the wind, flies like it’s riding on rails! Quick tip… you can use the abundance of three S850 milliant batteries that are available online with the XT 30 connector by reaming out a whole half inch behind the existing holes and using the extra rubber grommets that it comes with give you more flight time and more battery options. It does come with an extra tail rotor and some extra main blades but I would recommend ordering some extra ones with this helicopter so you don’t have to pay for shipping separately later.”

“Impressive performance and good quality. Very stable in 6G mode, smooth, and quiet. 3D mode is quite aggressive, turning down the swashplate sensitivity slightly really helped stabilize the heli. Has lots of power and flies much like a larger model. Start with shorter flight times and check your battery. I’m getting 3.5 min with 3D flying and around 5 minutes in 6G mode.”
