“Bad ESC right of the box. Burnt up three servos as soon as I plugged the battery in. Long story short, after buying new ESC and 3 servos, recalibrating and getting the GPS plug to stay in and going through it with a fine toothed comb, she flies great!!! Nice and stable, and there are lots of videos on YouTube to help. They helped me anyway. Flywing did finally send new electronics so now I have spares!!”

“The helicopter is very stable and flies really nice. When I got it, I had problems. There was a wire to the tail rotor motor not connected. I did not see at the first time. “La emisora es sencilla, no tiene altavoz y con eso, ni aviso de baja bateria de vuelo, y tampoco aviso de temporizador, pero hace su funcion. La bateria si se acaba del helicoptero el mismo vuelve a su posicion de despegue y ateriza. Todo el sistema se calienta muchisimo, tanto la bateria como el regulador, como el motor. La correa hay que engrasar, si no hay mucho desgaste, como el resto de la mecanica.El ajusto del Heli esta bien, pero a mi me faltaba dejarlo perfecto.Lo bueno que tienen videos que te enseñan.El principante necesita saber un poco mas.El vuelo esta muy bien logrado, me encanta.Una problema es la falta de recambio!!”

“It needs some good visual checks and calibration procedure performed but it's not to difficult. I calibrated mine once and then didn't need to again. I am not a 3d copter pilot but there are some you tube vids of it being flown mild 3d and also shows simple mod to make tail rotor a bit quieter. The YT channel of guy who thought up tail rotor mod is named Andrej Sturm. Some good vids with the FW450 there.This is one of the better values in RC aircraft out there IMO.”

“Great little helicopter that flies just as advertised after a few initial minor issues.1. As stated you need a windows pc to do initial calibration, what’s not mentioned anywhere is that it must be windows 10. Anything earlier or newer will not communicate with the H1 controller.2. For the first flight I used the supplied charger that only shows you a percentage of charge. When you reach 100 the battery is supposedly full. After flying for 3 minutes, the low battery function kicked in and the heli flew home. When I checked the battery with a high end rc hobby charger, cell number 4 was in a deep discharged state, 2.8 vs 3.9 of the other 3 cells. The high end charger was able to bring the cell back. Subsequent flights were around 12 minutes.3. As it came out of the box, the swashplate was stuck at the very bottom of the shaft. Powering up, the servos were unable to move and you could hear the servos buzzing away. If crept on this would eventually burn out the servos. The reason was very light corrosion on the ball and shaft, probably from being in a humid warehouse somewhere. A little machine oil and some very careful prying with a large flat screw driver rectified this.After all this, everything was perfect and very enjoyable.”

“Overall i am glad over the purchase of the helicopter, the only thing That anoing me is the fact that te helikopter is not powerfull enogh..The first time after 5 minutes Fly i tried to land it, Fly full throttle with the nose in the wind but the helikopter went sideways and crashed in to a tree….”
