The only problem wal the landing skid. I ordered two more and recieved them. The manufacturer needs to make them stronger. That was the only minor problem. Thank You.

Pleasantly surprised with this scale heli! I was hesitant to buy this heli because it was made by RotorScale, as my first purchase of a RotorScale heli (black 450 size Hughes 500) was cheaply made, didn't fly well, and parts were never in stock...In fact it's still just a static display today. However, this heli by RotorScale seems to tell me they have improved the quality of their products. The fuselage is lightweight plastic and despite it being plastic it feels sturdy. The paint scheme looks as good as it's pictured. The canopy is shaded which, gives it a really nice look and there is an led that you can see through the canopy that corresponds with the status led on the back behind the rotor head. The blades are already installed on the heli right out of the box and there is no need to adjust the pitch. Just as Motion RC states in the video for this heli....remove the heli, battery, and transmitter from the box....charge battery, battery snaps in place under the heli, do a flat surface calibration, and fly. I followed the steps exactly and this heli flew exactly how you see it in the video. This heli is meant for fun backyard, beach, and park type flying and not really the style flying you find in larger more powerful helis but this heli is definitely fun to fly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the transmitter feels a little "toy like." Another downside for me, but may not be for other is the collective/rudder gimbal is not like your higher end transmitters...meaning when you give it throttle/collective you have to hold it there otherwise when you let go it returns to "mid stick" as it's spring loaded. I understand thats the feature for new pilots while in optical sensor mode where he heli returns to level when you release the sticks, but it's just something im not used to flying the bigger helis. Bottom line, if you are a brand new never flown RC heli pilot, then get the GPS/Optical Sensor version of this heli and it will be much more enjoyable for you starting out; however, if you have the basic foundation for flying RC helis to advanced RC heli pilots, and you are looking for something that is quick to get in the air, back yard or beach flying then you will absolutely enjoy this heli and it will look good too.
