“This is a bad design. The spinner comes off when the prop brakes, causing the prop to come off in mid flight. Stop selling this and offer refunds to those you have sold to.”

“I've lost this prop several times, and feels it's Prop adapter and Spinner are the three most problematic items likely to fail on a RC-Motion Shrike.. Why they are out of stock is no surprise at all.. The prop is well balanced and I've never had any vibration but since the ESC Braking is enabled ( as it should be) what happens is the Prop spinner can easily de-thread on the shaft as you release throttle and it will loosen to the point that either the prop falls off in mid-air or that prop will appear to spin on the shaft even tho the adapter and spinner are both tight. . It does this until you put a washer in place over the shaft and between the spinner and the prop adapter.. By building this thickness up a little with the 1/32 inch thick washer I found that the spinner will then tighten down far enough to stay in place..”

“After the spinner and propeller flew off during the maiden flight of my Shrike, I ordered this replacement spinner and the prop. When the parts arrived, the piece for mounting the blades that was included with the spinner parts was cracked and would have been unusable. There was no photo of the prop I ordered, but the description indicated that the prop came with the mount, which should have given me a spare piece to replace the broken one that came with the spinner group. Unfortunately, the prop with mount was just the two blades and neither part gorup included the metal pins to fix the baldes to the yoke. I realize this is a new product and some issues are to be expected as things get ironed out, but this should have been a pretty simple error to spot in a basic QC check. I've contacted tech support and they are looking into the matter and said they will send a new prop.In the meantime, for those reviewers who have also lost their props due to not being able to tighten the spinner, be advised that you may not be able to get back in the air with the early incomplete replacement parts.”
