I am impressed with the quality of the plane.I didn’t expect much from a foam model, but it’s really cool.I haven’t flown it yet because it’s been so windy and I have lots of trees.

Previously I had a Skynetic P40 and was unhappy with the FC/gyro programing of elevator movement with throttle increase/ decrease, so I returned it. I purchased one of these Stearmans when it went on sale for half price before Xmas. It too had the funky FC. I purchased a Volantex receiver board for the 400mm warbirds from AliExpress. It was an easy fit into the Stearman. I mounted board with hot glue and shortened control rods to match new servo placement I did have to cut and switch motor wires to get correct rotation. I also added a larger control horn to elevator to enable more movement. It was a little tail heavy on first flights so I added 3 grams of lead weight glued to backside of dummy engine. Plane flies much better now, on par with the Volantex.

Purchased in Dec 2024. The product looks good for the price. Putting the battery in and landing gear is a bit of a pain. First flight was a bit confusing. The beginner mode was slow reacting and rudder barely moved. I made a quick switch to 3D and got some rudder control. Got it headed in the desired direction and then the prop & spinner flew off. I spent 5 days looking for it and eventually found it in the yard. The following week I tried again and basically the same end result - Minimal control & Lost spinner & prop again. Went to order new parts and unfortunately MRC out of props. Makes sense...So I recommend caution purchasing this plane. The idea of a small affordable set up that I can fly in my yard is attractive. Appears to me to be a issue of quality control. Hope to try again when props in stock. Argh...

Purchased 4 Skynetic planes :Stearman, Fu4 Corsair, Pitts Special and Cub. The cub won't fly (3 ch) but spec says needs 4ch xmtr, seems not enough power, goes into slow crash. The Stearman won't turn right in 6G/G but flys..Corsair & Pitts fly as expected. All have extremely slow control response about 1-1.5sec to complete a move. Control horns exposed very long under plane fragile for no gear grass landing.Xtrans is toyish, switching control functions ( 6G, manual, beginner) requires stepping thru with a push button no switch to go directly.Skynetic has a long way to go, I'm just use to better known brands. Won't purchase from this brand again. Think it over well.

Vole très bien, amusant à piloté même avec du vent pas trop fort. J'ai essayé sans la stabilisation et là cela se gâte. J ai la version avec le récepteur futaba qui marche très bien avec ma Radiomaster.

The plane in the shipping box arrived in great condition. Upon opening the actual box we found the plane to be fine with no issues. we have yet to fly the plane but all systems on a pre-flight check work as they should. this is a very attractive model.
