“This is my second Tongde tank. LIke my first, the chassis, drivetrain, smoke and combat systems are great. The plastic accessory parts not so much. I had to rework every single one to fit, and sometimes that fit was poor. Mating pins often broke and I had to jerry rig the parts together. After paying $300 for an RC tank, I expect better quality in the details.
Heng Long tanks are better made.”

“My first RC APC. So that is already exciting enough! Looks amazing even when steady. The controllable turret with the flashing machine gun is a very good feature. Rest are all traditional Tongde features e.g. turning lights, smoke function, headlights, rear lights etc. But there are some areas where, probably, they could do differently:
1. Sound - the deault sound of this unit (engine, start up, machine gun etc.) is the same as the Tongde howitzer model. So, I do not know if all Tongde products have the same sound set, but if yes, then may be this can be changed. Example: there is a marked difference between Heng Long T90 and Heng Long Merkava default sound set.
2. Additonal parts - the additional parts which come with the set are good, but a little too fragile. I broke a couple of joints in my case, and had to resort to some gluing back. But once done, it looked good, no damage done.
3. Fitting the turret machine gun - placing the gun is not a big deal. But caution has to be exercised when connecting the cable jack i.e. must be correctly placed with respect to polarity (red to red, black to black). And how? I had to open the rear hatch to properly peek inside and understand the right directon of the jack. But the jack can be made unidirectional (like an extra notch or something) to prevent accidental wrong polarity connection. It is the same case with the howitzer.
Overall - I am happy, it really looks and plays good. Just that, there is room for improvement.”
