“I bought a Tongda Tank from them. that was my first mistake. When it arrived, the Transmitter was sending a constant signal to the tanks machine gun so it would never stop shooting, volume and sound features were not working either. I contacted Motion RC and customer support via email. Their customer service is as or more daunting than going to the DMV. After every email you may receive a reply in 1-3 business days. They require videos for everything so in order to upload a video small enough to successfully attach to the email you have to edit it severely. I had to film, then speed up the video by 2.5x, then when that didn't work, I had to crop and cut certain parts out and reduce resolution to finally have the "documentation of proof" for the issues I was describing. When it comes to quality this little transmitter doesn't even have joy sticks. On the original one I received with the tank the joysticks are aluminum and the set in the hole. No threads, no friction, it just falls out. Setting a glass on a table has the same build quality and sturdiness. So I glued them in. Well then, the second one came and NO joysticks. So, then I had to break the old ones out that I glued in and glue them into the new one. Everything else that was previously malfunctioning works, but now the smoke no longer works. This is not the first time I have had the misfortune of dealing with MOTION RC customer service. I had Issues with a plane I bought. But I will say it is the last. The potential Joy I get from the hobby does not outweigh the absolute pain in the ass annoyance you have to go through to get this cheap stuff fixed. Moving forward I will enjoy what I have to the capacity they are at and will purchase no more. Of my 3 recent purchases I have had issues with 2. I would rather sit in traffic going both ways to work for a month straight than deal with customer service. On my other issue after genuinely weeks of back and forth they finally gave me a whole $30 credit. Then "forgot" to give it to me so I had to email back once again upset this time and then I got it the next day. RANT OVER”

“I have 4 tongde tanks an was having problems with one of the controllers. I bought on and it worked fine. It's an easy controller to use. Although I have some minor problems with the tank when I'm done rebuilding the tank l will reprogram the controller and see what happens. Everything is a learning process and motion rc is the best support you can get.”
