“I am an A&P mechanic that works on the LUH72/EC-145, and I've got to say that the attention to detail on this little guy is pretty impressive! Not exact, but close enough;-! She fly's OK out of the box, however, I did find that some D/R and Expo settings needed to be fiddled with in the TX to settle it into my liking, but that's to be expected with any RTF. I have not tried I/U(idle up) as of yet, as I'm afraid to crash such a sexy bird, and judging by the way it handles in normal mode, I don't suppose it's much of a 3-D machine... But overall, very cool mini backyard scale flyer!!”

Modèle très détaillé qui surprend par ses qualités de vol dès la sortie de boîte, pas besoins de réglages particuliers. Pas encore testé le vol 3D mais ce n'est qu'une question de temps. “I ordered this with extra battery came in in about 3 or 4 days great packing love the looks of the little helicopter book not a good helicopter for beginners the front canopy comes off every crash and after the third crash my life no longer work”

“Ok to keep this simple and to the point -The bad - the owner’s manual is virtually worthless for both the heli and the transmitter. You can learn more about it on YouTube than attempting to decipher much of anything with the accompanying literature. Durability is a little above average - which I hesitate to make a negative considering the price. Just know that you cannot beat this one up too much before it starts to come apart in ways that will require part replacements and even some possible soldering. The plastic body itself is pretty thin plastic and it is not easy at all to get it to properly fit on with the battery plugged in inside. You can actually break it easier than you might think just trying to get it put together correctly before it’s very first flight. Very frustrating. The transmitter is nice, BUT the instructions are so non-existent and poorly written that you have to literally experiment with each button and switch to try to figure out what they do. Even then you just can’t figure it out. You’re left with the feeling that it’s either way too much transmitter for the heli or unless you are super familiar with these Futaba transmitters (nice quality) then good luck figuring it all out and expect a time investment to do so, if you can. The good -It’s beautiful. The scale design and coloring make this a real looker. Great details, too. The brushless motor sounds great turning those FOUR blades. The LED light in front is nice and bright and aids with orientation. The battery life lasts longer than I had expected, although I did no 3D flying and this just doesn’t seem like the type of heli I would even want to do that with, but to each their own, It was packaged beautifully, So much so, that you’ll want to actually keep the box it came in for storage it’s that nicely done. Lately, that’s an area where manufacturers are understandably cutting corners to save on costs, but not XK....bravo XK.Overall, I wish my skill level was up to where I could enjoy this little one enough, but in my judgment this is not a good heli for anyone less than a legit intermediate skill level or with stone seriously successful time with a simulator flying similar sized brushless helis. Otherwise, you’ll either be upset that you “wasted” the money or you’ll be upset that you weren’t more honest with yourself about your own capabilities as a heli pilot...my problem being the latter. It’s so unique and cool that you’ll be tempted to get one due to its price and sex appeal. Unless you are confident you won’t destroy it I recommend buying it to look at only until you are ready to pilot this little brushless machine. Don’t let its docile appearance lure you into thinking that it flies that way. It will outperform most brushless helis the same size or close to it. Part of the allure of this one is that it really seems to be in a class all to itself, is it worth it to buy and put on the shelf awhile until you’re competent enough to fly it? Yes, if you can discipline yourself to wait. Is it worth it to buy if you’re an experienced flyer - absolutely - a killer value with a definite unique factor that turns heads and has people wanting to know what it is and where you got it. A good first or second heli? Absolutely not....third MAYBE....I hope this one sticks around awhile and I hope XK keeps building helis at this level and at such a competitive price point. I don’t think any other manufacturer comes close to touching them in this niche of the heli market. They’re nailing it right now.”

“When the weather decides to conspire against allowing normal fixed wing flight, this little chopper is a fantastic alternative. Loads of fun and surprisingly robust (my call sign is not 'Crash King' for nothing) and considering it is my first foray into this side of the hobby, it was relatively stress free. A great looking model from XK and apart from the 'Chinstructions' easy to set up and fly. Highly recommended.”
