“It was a great trip and we're so glad we didn't rent a car to go by outselves. It was not as exhausting as I thought it would be (given it's a 12 hour trip) and taking a pillow to sleep on the long bus ride definitely helped! It was very informative and the guide was helpful with little headsets so you didn't have to rush after her to hear her speak. We weren't able to go into Peles castle as it's closed on Mondays but got to see a torture exhibition in Bran castle instead which was brilliant but a bit creepy to see. All in all very good tour.”
“We had a great day with Mr Tripp to Dracula and Pele's Castles. Everything ran on time and the guide was very informative. We went on a wet Sunday in Apr so not much traffic but on a weekday or in high summer 12 hour duration is probably optimistic!”
“I was unsure whether I wanted to book this at first as I don’t usually like arranged tours. However, I’m really pleased I did as it was such an interesting day. Alex was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the country - I learned a lot. The day was arranged well and I particularly enjoyed the Peles Castle visit. Although it is a long and tiring day, I think it is worth it as you get to see places that would be hard to get to on your own. I’d love to see more tours from Bucharest added to your list of options.”
