“We had a wonderful day. Daniel was a fantastic guide with perfect English, and very knowledgable about the history and traditions of Romania, as well as being friendly and kind. He was a careful driver (driving in Bucharest can be a bit scary!) and really fun to be with.
We visited two vineyards (Busaresca and Lacerta), where we were expected and had interesting tours followed by some great wine-tastings. Romanian wine is very under-rated - what we had was delicious. The staff were very knowledgeable and we bought some wine to take home at a very reasonable price.
The countryside was very pretty and a fascinating glimpse at rural Romanian life. Daniel took us to a little local restaurant for lunch,which had delicious regional cusine and was very good value.
All in all, we had a great day, one of the highlights of our stay in Bucharest. Would definitely recommend - and ask for Daniel: he was wonderful!”
