“I am homesick for Romania. Many ingredients must come together to leave you with the best memories and a reason to venture back. Alex was a true professional and passionate about his country. Most importantly, passionate about providing the truth not the watered down version of same.
Without excellent travel partners I have no doubt the lasting smirk on my face would be nonexistent. Thank you Jen, Pete (The Magician) and Leit. I had a few hiccups along the way in booking as I am a 'solo traveller' and a few tours could not get off the ground without a minimum number of participants.
While this tour was originally NOT my first choice I do believe things happen for a reason. Mr. Tripp offered great service in a small personal group setting. Accommodation surpassed my expectations although I most certainly had favourites. I am not a big breakfast person and found it only average quality with normally a large selection of both hot and cold foods.
Hat's off to Anastasia in the Mr. Tripp office as well for replying promptly to emails and queries. I can't find my umbrella so I am pretty sure I left it with my heart in Transylvania. Travel has always and will forever be the best money I have ever spent. This trip is the perfect example. Cheers!

“I would highly recommend this tour. The tour included the best of the Transylvanian region and our tour guide, Alex, was fantastic - he was knowledgeable, friendly, and understood what we wanted out of our trip. Travelling around Romania can be difficult for an outsider, and this tour is great as it includes locations such as Corvin Castle and Turda which are often absent from fixed-location tours. All of the hotels were great, particularly the accommodation in Sighisoara.”
