“I'm going to try these seeds, I bought a few genuine sticks back in the 70s, and this weed is very unique. Something that I'll never forget. There were a few seeds and as a young grower, I grew many varieties including the Thai. Out of the many types, it had the longest growing season. I harvested in mid November which is still relatively warm in my region of California. Like I said before, it's a very unique plant, unique buds, unique flavour, and for me it was worth the wait. I grew my one plant in a creek bank that was sort of jungle like. I actually took some of the native cane that grew in the creek and painstakingly created my own "Thai sticks" layered them in a ziplock baggy sucked the air out and let them cure for a while. They looked just like an authentic Thai stick, the taste was very close as well. The color was slightly greener but still had the beautiful gold/light brown overtones. Your description of the characteristics and smells/taste are very much as I would describe the original back in the day. I'm placing an order today. Thanks, I thought a variety like this was a forgotten relic. I'm eager to try my hand at growing again after more than 40 years since growing pot in my teens and twenties.”
“When I bought these seeds, I didn't know what to expect, but they started off with big thick leaves and I thought they weren't the real thing at first. But now, in flowering, they have long thin leaves like a sativa should. The plants are very nice and healthy. They smell like sweet and fruity citrus which reminds me of G13, or MK Ultra, but with strong sativa genetics. I'm still probably 8 weeks from the end of flowering, but they smell amazing and are very vigorous. Thai stick is supposed to smell like citrus, so I'm positive now it's the real thing and I'm impressed. I can't wait to smoke it, and I'll be using it for breeding. Very nice.”
“Have been a fan of this strain forever but our location does not suit the long flower period but wanted to try and grow it. Planted 3 in pots, 2 females 1 male and the girls have been flowering for a few weeks now. This is just a beautiful plant to look, tall and strong fingers crossed they finish proper.”
