“I bought this several months ago but wanted to wait to review until I used it for awhile. I have serious chronic nasal congestion due to small internal nasal openings. Doctor said mine were small like a childs. I had the Septoplasty & Turbinate surgery but doctor said I will still have some issues with congestion due to my small openings. I use the Neilmed nasal mist daily. When I have time I do a facial steamer for 20 min. I use Afrin but no more than 2 x week or you get the rebound issues that make it worse. I also use Nasal Gel & I do the nasal saline rinse 2-3 times a week per the doctor recommendations. I take Claritin-D once in a while & it works a miracle to breathe, BUT, it also dries your nose out bad. In between I also use Sudafed Sinus for my bad sinus headaches. This all helps but it also seems to dry out the nose so bad. Night time is my worst. I don't sleep much at all. I saw an add for this MyPurMist one day & thought I would invest in it even though it was expensive. I have used it about 6 times now & I will say when I use it a couple hours before bed I can breathe through my nose a whole lot better. I also have sleep apnea & wear a CPAP with a water chamber on it but it does not help much by itself. I notice after I use the steamer for 20 min or so my congestion is still bad & I am plugged up for the 1st hour, then I open up all of a sudden & it feels SO GOOD to breathe again! I think it makes me worse at due to the warm steam which expands the nose inside. I love the Scent pad aroma too. My only criticism of this unit is like others have mentioned is that the scent pad falls off constantly. You accidently touch or bump it, its off. It needs to clip in a lot better. PLSE TELL SOMEONE ABOUT THIS & FIX IT. Not such a bad thing but I also noticed after the unit dries itself, there is still water in the reservoir so I just turn it upside down in my dish rack to drain if I want to put it away somewhere. All in all I love this steam inhaler & would highly recommend it!”
