“The adhesive labels are quite disappointing as they only seem to survive washing at up to 30C. Several have had to be replaced already. The labels were needed to mark clothing of a long-term hospital patient so frequent and often higher temperature washing is necessary.”

We're sorry to hear you are disappointed with your labels, Martyn. Stikins ® have been independently tested using the BS EN ISO6330 wash test procedure for 40 washes at 40 degrees, but unfortunately we can't guarantee them at higher temperatures than that as the hotter water will affect the adhesive. We do have an iron-on label (Trons) which can be used if you need to wash at hotter temperatures; while they aren't quite as convenient they do solve this problem.

“Second year of buying these labels... they are amazing. Everything gets a label, water bottle, uniform, school bag etc and they NEVER wear away or come off despite many washes! Highly recommended.”
