“Maris and her crew were great. This was my first time white water rafting and it was an excellent way to gently test the waters. There were rapids, but Maris was an expert in guiding us through them. Can't wait to return and try a full day on the river. Thanks for the memories.”

“My children and I had a wonderful time with our guide, Erin. She not only took the time to teach them proper paddling techniques and safety procedures, but also history of the river and national forest. We had a blast and strongly recommend her and this tour!”

“This was such a fun experience. Our guides were so knowledgeable and made us feel safe. We went with 4 kids and the guides were so kind dandy patient. Best of all was the leader who made us laugh but was super clear on rules and safety. Can't wait to go back!”

“NOC is the best guided rafting company in the area! Nathan W. was a superb guide - informative, entertaining and talented. The three of us had an excellent time on the French Broad. This part of the river is more scenic and quieter than in the Asheville city area. I will be back!!”
