“Upper Pigeon half day was exciting & fun for everybody: our 12 yr old athletic grandson, our 11 yr old more timid granddaughter, their parents, & two 67 yr old grandparents. We were tossed, soaked, & bounced enough to squeal & laugh but not be scared. We are all strong swimmers though. A non swimmer would not enjoy it as much as we did. Our guides were knowledgeable & friendly, & acted as if it was their first trip down the river! Thank you so much, NOC.”

“The whitewater rafting trip on the upper pigeon river was very enjoyable. The weather was rainy but we were wet anyway! Or rafting guide was super great! She explained the different levels of the rapids and was prepared for any whitewater that we encountered. We can‚Äôt wait to experience the river again. The other staff at the outpost were all personable and helped us with any questions that we had. They were able to direct us to a lovely cafe in Hartford for a bite to eat and a well deserved beverage. We would highly recommend this rafting adventure and company to any of our family, friends and anyone who would ask.”

“This was our first experience white water rafting and we loved it so much we are looking into booking again. Our family of 5 (kids ages 14,13,10) all say it was the best activity of the week Our guide Kaitlyn was personable, extremely skilled, and helped calm the nerves of my 10 year old. All the staff members that we met and interacted with were friendly, polite, and helpful. The rapids were not too difficult and with Kaitlyns guidance we easily maneuvered the more challenging spots. I would recommend this company 100%.”

“Loved our trip today with NOC! Our guide Kaitlyn was extremely personable, very skilled, and really made our family’s first white water rafting experience special. If it wasn’t the end of our trip we would have absolutely booked again!!”

“Colin was an personable guide with experience! Just enough excitement to keep everybody happy and in the raft. No casualties!!! Would highly recommend ! Reasonably priced as well.”
