“The tint on this sunscreen is SO dark! I don't know why they don't share photos of the shade on this website. A woman called me after my purchase to see if I had any questions - I asked about the tint (I hadn't received the product yet) and she said if it is too dark to just thin it out with moisturizer! Ma'am - it is skincare 101 that mixing moisturizer with your sunscreen makes it less effective and is highly NOT recommended.
Also, not only is the tint super dark, it also pills off in little balls once it dries down. It's really bad and since I opened it, I am unable to return. Super disappointed.”
“I love this sunscreen when I first start a new bottle. The texture is so soft and silky; it feels so luxurious and light on my skin.
Unfortunately, however, about 1/2 to 2/3 way through the bottle, the formula starts to separate and becomes very thick and “greasy” feeling. I have to really work to rub it into my skin. It’s like a totally different product as you get closer to the bottom of the bottle.
Given this costs $50, I wish there was something the company would do to remedy this. That’s a lot of money to pay for a WHOLE bottle, no less 2/3 of a bottle which is really all I can use before having to switch to a new bottle.
It was suggested to me that I could try “mixing” the bottom of an old bottle with some sunscreen from a new bottle… but again, this should not be necessary when you’re spending $50 on 1.8 oz of sunscreen.”
“I’ve tried every sunscreen under the sun and this one has been my favorite by far. It seems to calm my skin and the tint does well with covering up darker spots, it looks like I’m wearing makeup!”
